Well well well, what do we have here… TikTok recently announced the end of their $2 billion creator fund and Meta said, “step aside, I got this.”
Meta released their new holiday creator incentives to reward creators for their hard work, help them earn a little more holiday dough, and boost those views and subscriber numbers.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s to come: 👇
1️⃣ Holiday Bonus on Instagram: Creators in the US, Japan, and South Korea may gain access to the invite-only holiday bonus. Select creators will be incentivised by the number of plays/views for both reels and photos (single image and carousels).
2️⃣ Facebook Subscriptions Update: In the next few months, millions of creators will gain access to subscriptions for their Facebook content. Creators will have more control over pricing and new ways to help convert regular content viewers into subscribers.
3️⃣ Instagram Gifts Expansion: Much like TikTok live, eligible Instagram creators will now be able to earn support and money from fans through in-app gifts.
Influencers and creators who create strong connections with their audiences make for great brand partners. Keep an eye out for increased community engagement, how your brand can best align with creators’ audiences, and which influencers’ content may align with your strategies.
