While customers battled the scorching heat for over seven hours to enter the viral Rhode pop-up in NYC, a nearby store took advantage of the increased foot traffic to promote its business.
Abercrombie-esque male brand ambassadors handed out water with the VENROY brand name so those standing in line could Google the business and explore their ecommerce site.
Unsurprisingly, online searches for ‘VENROY’ reached an all-time high last week. They also gained tons of UGC traction on TikTok simply by showing up at the right place at the right time. Now, this is smart marketing. 🔥
