Food delivery service Uber Eats has partnered with David and Victoria Beckham for an upcoming Super Bowl commercial.
In the 35-second spot, they spoof a famous scene from the Beckham documentary and the brand is already receiving a ton of online praise for their humorous take.
The backstory?
The most viral moment from the four-part Netflix documentary was when David Beckham confronted Victoria about her white lie.
When she shares that she came from a working-class family, her husband quickly stepped into the room and demanded she tell the viewers what kind of car her dad drove her to school.
His exasperated reply “Be honest” quickly went viral and she finally admitted the truth: her dad actually drove a Rolls Royce. 😂
The impact?
People are loving how this celebrity pair has no problem poking fun at themselves and how this Super Bowl ad ties back to a relatable pop culture moment.
Leveraging viral moments is a great way to capture your audience’s attention so make sure to try this tactic as well leading up to Super Bowl weekend!
