✅ Stop The Scroll With These Winning Tips
How do you get viewers to stop scrolling?
Creating scroll-stopping videos takes time, but it's worth the time and effort once you figure out the secret sauce.
Here's six tips to capture their attention:
First, the hook. Lure in viewers with a strong visual or statement within the first three seconds. Use overlay text with a bold statement or question or a striking visual or cut.
Is your video optimized for mobile? Use a 9:16 vertical ratio, and make sure your text is large enough for small screens so it's easy to read. Make sure your product is easy to see and the colors pop.
Use a video editor: Grab attention with dynamic elements! Add animations, visual effects, and transitions to keep viewers engaged. You can also use AR filters or AI avatars.
Make the content compelling: Write a script highlighting your target audience's pain points and product benefits. Tell a story or showcase your product in an unexpected way that surprises your audience or makes them laugh. Building a connection with your audience will make it more memorable.
Optimize for silent watchers: Watch your video with the sound off before hitting publish. Does the story still make sense without audio? Use on-screen text and captions to avoid losing out on these watchers.
Keep it short and sweet: Creating a video under 30 seconds means you need to deliver your message fast. Study your analytics and see which video length works well with your audience.
The takeaway?
By implementing these tactics, advertisers can create scroll-stopping videos that capture attention and drive engagement on social media platforms. The key is to hook viewers instantly, optimize for mobile, and deliver compelling content in a visually dynamic way.

💰 Step by Step Guide on Preparing for BFCM Spend Limits
Chances are you’re deep in the weeds with creative, copy and offer prep for BFCM - but one thing to keep in mind is ad account billing and daily spend limits on Meta.
Depending on the account, it can take a couple of days to increase the daily spend limit so it’s good to get ahead of that in the beginning of November.
If you’re running ads on Meta, this is what to check for:
The Pilothouse Meta team recommends increasing your spend limit to be 2-3x what you’re expecting to spend on Black Friday to give yourself extra room to scale. To increase your daily spend limit, follow these steps.
The Pilothouse Meta team recommends reviewing billing and payment information a few weeks before Black Friday and checking back regularly in case any issues pop up.
This ensures you’re in a good place to scale up beyond what you’re expecting to spend if there’s more room to push volume.
Pilothouse has limited space left for new brands in Q4. If you’re looking for a growth partner for this BFCM, reach out today!
