Adobe Analytics has compiled all of the record-breaking stats from the 2024 holiday shopping season (Nov 1st to Dec 31).
This data is based on more than 1 trillion visits to U.S. retail sites, 100 million SKUS, and 18 product categories.

The takeaway?
Shoppers are prioritizing convenience, with mobile devices and AI chatbots transforming how they browse and buy.
However, the 28% rise in the rate of returns is a cause for concern. In the new year, retailers will need to minimize revenue losses from returns and reengage shoppers.

đ° What Metaâs New AI Features Means For Media Buying
Meta is planning to spend billions more on AI in 2025.
What does this mean for you?
If you are a Meta media buyer, you most likely are already using some of Metaâs AI features (Advantage+ features) they have been rolling out like Advantage+ audiences, image expansion, and ad copy generation.

In case you haven't seen, Meta also made a new update where you can now "create media" (meaning Meta can push brands to make their own creative directly with Ads Manager).
There's a prompt box where you can ask Meta to create your designs from scratch. đ

While the testing phase has produced mixed results, building creatives within Meta's Ads Manager in the next few years may become the new normal.
