Google Ads is coming down hard on ads with deceptive or unclear buttons.
On January 23, 2025, they will enforce the Google Ads Misrepresentation - Misleading Ad Design policy, which requires image ads to have clear context to explain their function.

🧑🎄 Is Your Site Ready For The Holiday Rush?
Is your site ready for the holiday rush?
Website visitors during this time are looking to buy, buy, buy! So, make sure to optimize your site for quick conversions.
Here are four ways to convert holiday shoppers into sales:
1️⃣ Automate discounts: Instead of asking your customers to remember a code, try automating discounts once they reach a certain threshold (e.g. orders over $50+) so there’s less friction in the checkout process.
2️⃣ Set up abandoned cart reminders: You will see more sales during this period and a higher rate of people abandoning their cart as they shop around. Remind shoppers to come back and complete their purchase with email or SMS reminders and urgency messaging like limited stock left.
3️⃣ Offer gifting options: Help customers find the perfect gift by creating gift guides by different price points. Offer digital gift cards for customers who like flexibility and picking their own items from their favorite brands.
4️⃣ Let customers know when an item is back in stock! Selling out is great, but you also want to bring those customers back into the fold when you replenish inventory.
This is an easy win for customers who have already shown an interest and are patiently waiting for that item to show up in your store again.
The takeaway?
Provide gifting suggestions and consider automating discounts so the checkout process is easy for customers.
And if items go out of stock sooner than expected, close the loop by communicating when an item is back in stock.

To clarify, users can still use hashtags in their posts, they just can’t follow them.
The platform claims this is to help reduce the amount of spammy content showing up on users' feeds. However, it’ll also make it harder for social media managers to track conversations around niche or branded hashtags.
