42% of users start shopping for gifts at least one month before Valentineās Day, while 19% of users leave gift-giving until the last minute.

TikTok users are highly engaged during this period and are looking to buy, so make sure you have videos that nudge them along the customerās buyer journey.
Consumers are actively searching for Valentineās Day content and engaging heavily with creators and brands.

š” Customers are buying gifts for people other than their partner. People are also shopping for their mother, themselves, friends, children, and father so keep that in mind when creating your messaging.
TikTok shares that 17% of gifters buy for both a partner and someone else, while many turn Valentineās Day into a moment of self-love, using hashtags like #SelfCare and #TreatYourself to celebrate.
