đĄ The Yearâs Top Attention-Grabbing Ad Campaigns
Itâs time for a roundup of some of our favorite ad campaigns this year!
Some went viral, others made us laugh, but our favorites did a great job of wowing us with their creativity and connecting with their target audience.
âĽď¸ Sweetheart Candies Situationship Campaign: The candy brand often associated with Valentineâs Day ran a different ad this year by poking fun at âsituationshipsâ.
â
â
The campaign went viral on social media, racking up over 1.2 million views on TikTok.
Users loved the spot-on cultural commentary and audiences praised the brand for selling defective products in a creative way and reducing waste.
đ Michael Ceraâs CeraVe campaign: The actor was papped holding bottles of CeraVe leading to an uptick in searches like Is Michael Cera the owner of CeraVe? In the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl.
â
â
The hilariously unhinged ads showed off the skincare brandâs sense of humor and reinstated one of its biggest selling points: itâs developed by dermatologists and not founded by an actor with a similar name.
The result? The ad spot got major praise online and over 30+ billion impressions.
đŹ Glossier embraces online hate in their social media campaign: Rather than ignoring the masses asking the brand to bring back the OG formula of one of their best-selling products, the brand used negative and brutally honest comments online to make the announcement.
This was a great way to show how they were listening to customer feedback and embraced the positive and the negative.
đ Brat(wurst) summer campaign: Sausage brand Field and Roast took advantage of Charlie XCXâs hit album brat by putting on their own âBratwurstâ campaign with this scrappy billboard creative.
â
â
They also took advantage of meme-vertising to promote the campaign over social media and left a lasting impression with Gen Z audiences.
Stay tuned for tomorrowâs issue to see part 2 of our top ad campaigns for 2024.
